A December to remember for Forest?

Last updated : 01 December 2009 By Forest

The Championship season will be more than halfway through by the time the new year rolls around and Forest, currently fourth in the table, will be looking to have cemented their place in the top six while possibly putting pressure on current leaders Newcastle and West Brom.

First up is a local derby at home to a Leicester City side currently one place above the Reds in the table before Billy Davies takes his side to Bramall Lane to face Sheffield United.

The Blades are in the bottom-half of the division at present but have shown signs of a return to form in recent games.

Neil Warnock's Crystal Palace are next up. The Eagles, strapped for cash and with a small squad are defying the predictions at present with some excellent results.

It's London opposition again with a trip to QPR before Forest run off the Turkey and Christmas Pudding with games away to Watford and at home to Coventry City.
