Barlow looking forward to Hull role

Frank Barlow is hoping that his stint as caretaker manager of Hull City lasts as little time as possible!

The experienced former Nottingham Forest assistant manager and also temporary boss moved to the KC Stadium on Wednesday while a deal to bring Colchester manager Phil Parkinson to the club is thrashed out.

Barlow will then work alongside Parkinson and said: "I don't like management, I really don't.

"The sooner Phil arrives and takes that tag off me the better.

"It's something I'll do but I'm uncomfortable with it.

"The reason I'm here is Phil Parkinson and the sooner he gets things settled with Colchester, the more at ease I will be."
