Blackpool Versus Nottingham Forest

Two teams in completely contrasting moods meet at Bloomfield Road on Saturday as Blackpool host Nottingham Forest in the Championship.

The hosts are without a win since beating Sheffield Wednesday at the end of November, recently sacked manager Paul Ince and a section of supporters are planning protests against chairman Karl Oyston this weekend.

Wednesday's hard-fought 2-0 FA Cup success just along the road at Preston, meanwhile, made it fourteen games unbeaten for the Reds in all competitions, their last defeat also coming in the final days of November against Reading. Barry Ferguson is in caretaker charge and has a new face in his squad after the re-signing of Elliott Grandin.

"I've known Elliott in the past and he's a quality player," Ferguson told the official BFC website. "I just need to get a bit of work out of him."

The reverse fixture ended in a win for Blackpool at the City Ground at the beginning of November, Stephen Dobbie scoring an injury-time winner after Forest had held out for over an hour following the dismissal of Djamel Abdoun. WIth fourteen games played in the Championship that left the Tangerines four points and two places above their hosts.

Team News: Billy Davies handed Rafik Djebbour a full debut and also brought Jack Hobbs, Danny Fox and Andy Reid back into his starting XI.

1st Half: After a fairly even opening 45 minutes, Forest took the lead from an unlikely source as Reid's cross was put into the net by Jamaal Lascelles.

2nd Half: Forest survived in the face of strong pressure at Preston on Wednesday and looked to be doing the same at Bloomfield Road but Andy Keogh levelled things for the hosts with four minutes remaining to earn them a vital point.

Updates to come on Forest Mad.
