Brighton Aim For Final Play-Off Place

Although the Reds have fallen just short of the top six their opponents still have the chance to be playing Premier League football next season.

Wigan Athletic's win at Birmingham City on Tuesday night means the final play-off place is between Reading and Brighton with the latter one point worse off going into the final game.

With Forest out of the picture attention at the City Ground has turned to potential signings for incoming manager Stuart Pearce. Coventry City's highly-rated young striker Callum Wilson has been linked and would appear to fit the potential Pearce mould for new arrivals at the club.

Middlesbrough goalkeeper Dimi Konstantopoulos has also been mentioned as a potential target.
