Charlton strengthen ahead of big Forest clash

The experienced Reading defender is set to make his Addicks debut in this weekend's 'six-pointer' against Nottingham Forest.

"There is no reason why we can't turn it around," he said of Charlton's poor form.

Murty added on the official club website: "We have got to ignore everything and be brave enough to play our game and work hard for each other."

Charlton are also being linked with Crystal Palace duo Carl Fletcher and James Scowcroft.
