Colin Todd brings his Bradford City side to the City Ground on Saturday for the opening game of the season and wants more new signings in place for the big kick-off.

The Bantams landed striker David Graham at the weekend but Todd told the Telegraph & Argus: "Fans look at the squad and I've heard them say to me at friendlies, Todd, get some signings'. They must think I'm not trying to do my job but I'm governed by the chairman.

"When he Julian Rhodes looks at what's in the squad, he has to realise that help is needed if we are to have a realistic chance of being up there at the end of the season.

"But it's not through want of trying and we haven't been helped by injuries and agents."
