Colchester boss praises side

An amazing end to the game saw Colchester score twice in injury-time after Nathan Tyson looked to have earned a point for the Reds.

"I can't speak highly enough of the lads' character," said parkinson, whose side are firmly in the hunt for an automatic promotion place.

"After the 2-0 win at Brentford on New Years Eve there were a lot of tired legs out there. They kept on giving their all, though.

"John White was one you could see tiring, but he was doing so well I couldn't take him off. They all came together and pulled through and the two goals that sealed the win - along with the first - were all pretty special."
