Crossley return unlikely for Forest

The Sunday Mirror claim that the former Forest keeper will quit Fulham in the summer after Edwin Van der Sar signed a new deal to stay at Craven Cottage and that Forest are interested.

Gary Megson did try and sign a new goalkeeper to challenge Paul Gerrard when he took over but a bid for Rotherham's Mike Pollitt was rejected.

Crossley is 35-years-old but still has ambitions at international level with Wales and is unlikely to want to drop down two divisions if Forest are relegated.
