Davies to wait over signings

Last updated : 22 November 2010

Dexter Blackstock suffered suspected cruciate ligament damage that could end his season during the win at Cardiff on Saturday, while David McGoldrick faces a month out with a knee problem.

Forest are unable to recall Joe Garner from his loan spell at Huddersfield, leaving Davies short of options.

"We will look at the loan market and see what we can bring in now, because we are picking up injuries," said Davies. "But we have a number of players ourselves who want to go out on loan to get games.

"With respect, we do not want to be signing somebody ourselves who is just wanting to go out and get a game of football. We do not want to bring players in who are not ready or who are not the right type for us.

"We will have a look at things. We will see what is available and, if the right player is out there, we will try to do something. I am making a list of target with the staff but nothing has been identified in terms of definite targets."
