A determined display at the Walkers Stadium saw Doncaster earn a point from their game against Leicester and they will now look to move away from the relegation zone with a win over Nottingham Forest at the Keepmoat Stadium.
"Obviously you want to be winning games but it was important we stopped losing games," Chambers told his club's official website.
"A point on Tuesday has 'stopped the rot' as they say and we now move onto the next game and see if we can pick up points against Forest.
"We will need to be on form and give a good account of ourselves in that game for sure."
