Forest '80% of the way there'

Billy Davies was delighted with his side after they bounced back from two straight home defeats and the loss of a first-half goal at Loftus Road.

"Anyone watching this club will see there has been an outstanding progression, even if it's not being rewarded with the results," said the Scot, who feels that the Reds have now turned in three excellent displays in their four games to date this season, despite a return of only two points.

QPR have one more point on the board but boss Jim Magilton knows the pressure is building at a club where managerial changes have been constant in the past couple of seasons.

"There's a nervousness about us," he said afterwards.

"I think these lads are hoping to win rather than expecting to, but it is still a work in progress."
