According to Wednesday's Evening Post, chairman Nigel Doughty is set to move away from the older Megson or Joe Kinnear type boss and move for a younger man who already has some managerial experience.

That leaves Nigel Clough as the firm favourite, with the likes of Dave Penney (Doncaster), Phil Parkinson (Colchester) and Colin Calderwood (Northampton) also in the frame.
