Forest prepare to face struggling duo

Given Forest's formidable home record, the games look like the ideal way for the Reds to regroup after two damaging away defeats and the fallout from Billy Davies' broadside at the club hierarchy.

Peterborough have been in improved form of late and looked set to gain a third straight victory when taking the lead against Doncaster in midweek.

Rovers fought back to take the points however, leaving the Posh eight points adrift of safety.

After a season of turmoil at London Road, new manager Jim Gannon has brought stability to the club and has been offered the chance to stay on next season although that would involve upheaval of his family.

Gannon told BBC Radio Cambridgeshire: "It will be difficult to accept the job and difficult to turn it down.

"I need to sit down and bounce things off my family and friends."
