Forest progress pleases boss Davies

Burton Albion were seen off 4-1 in Saturday's pre-season clash
With more new signings to come next week, boss Billy Davies was left to reflect on a pleasing week, topped with a comfortable win at the Pirelli Stadium.

"We are making steps forward," he told the Evening Post after a Nathan Tyson hat-trick saw off the Brewers.

Chris Gunter and Paul McKenna meanwhile are set to complete their moves to the city Ground, with Dexter Blackstock a candidate to join them according to Sunday's press.
