The towering centre-half, a target for the Reds, was in dominant form to hit Celtic's title hopes.
"I don't want to begin with the speculation," said Hibs boss Mixu Paatelainen after the game, when asked about Jones' future.
"We will have to wait and see what happens over the summer - nothing will be decided until then.
"But Rob Jones has been fantastic all season. He is a player who dominates his area and would be a valuable player to any squad."
