Preston manager Alan Irvine has said that midfielder Paul McKenna remains firmly in his plans while Brighton are in no rush to sell Joel Lynch, although a deal whereby a Forest youngster goes on loan to the City Ground next season is a possibility.
The Reds are also waiting to hear about their seven-figure bid for Southampton striker David McGoldrick and are expected to seal a deal shortly for Dele Adebola.
