Forest Wait On The Weather

The Blades were due to face Brentford in League One at Bramall Lane on Wednesday night but the continuing bad weather saw the game called off at 1pm due to a waterlogged pitch and the threat of further heavy rain to come.

United go into the game buoyed by their 4th Round success away to Premier League side Fulham while Forest continued their long unbeaten run with an excellent win at Huddersfield on Tuesday night.

They have big Championship fixtures coming up against the two sides currently at the top of the table, Leicester City and Burnley, but with a place in the quarter-finals up for grabs they will be taking the game very seriously indeed.

***Update*** The two clubs have shared the cost of a pitch protection cover in order to boost the chances of the game going ahead with Sheffield United having used the system prior to their home game against Fulham in the previous round.
