The 25-year-old centre-half will move to Celtic Park once his deal expires at the City Ground in the summer.
Wilson, formerly with Notts County and Preston, has had his season interrupted by injury and has made just 10 appearances for Forest.
Celtic have also signed Airdrie United's teenage striker Tony Watt on a three-year contract.
