Manager Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink is poised to make changes to his side for the FA Cup tie but told the official R’s website that he would be sending out a ‘competitive’ team.

30-year-old Perch moved to Loftus Road in the summer after two seasons with Wigan Athletic. He made over 200 appearances for Nottingham Forest between 2004 and 2010 and has recovered from injury in time to face his former club.

“Perch will be involved,” said Hasselbaink.

“He has had a good week of training, and it will be a decision for me now if I will put him in the side.”

With a full Championship fixture list scheduled for next midweek, Dougie Freedman is also poised to make changes and Chris Cohen is hoping to be involved after his long-awaited return from injury at Charlton Athletic last weekend.
