Hart hopeful ahead of Forest return

The former Reds player and manager, in charge of his third different club of the season, brings relegation-threatened Crystal Palace side to town in upbeat mood, despite being pegged back from two goals down against Blackpool on Saturday.

"We're hopeful about staying up, after all no-one said it was going to be easy but we have to keep on hanging on in there," he said, with the cash-strapped Eagles short on numbers but long on spirit judged by some of their results after being deducted ten points for going into administration.

Hart singled out custodian Julian Speroni for praise, saying: "Our keeper's fantastic, he's got to be one of the best outside the Premiership."

Palace, who currently occupy the final relegation place, drew 1-1 at home to Forest in late October, David McGoldrick levelling after Darren Ambrose's opener.
