Hart praise for striker

Last updated : 07 October 2002 By ForestMAD
Johnson scored his 14th & 15th goals of the season in the victory over The Lions, a result that leaves Forest sitting pretty in 4th position in the First division table.

"He's been absolutely superb this year, earning goals that do not fall on a plate for him," said Hart.

"He's getting his rewards for the hard work he put in the summer when he trained throughout without a day off.

"He had a look at himself after we had loaned him out to Burnley and Sheffield Wednesday at the end of last season.

"Now he's found his goal-scoring form, the bottom line being that he really wants to play for Nottingham Forest.

"He'd been with us 18 months or so and said to himself that he had not shown the supporters what he could do, so he got down to business and we are reaping the benefits."
