Jess picked up a knock during last week's win at Coventry and is not expected to be risked for the clash against the Nationwide Division Three side on Wednesday.
"We're all hoping he's going to be fit for the game against Watford because it would appear to be too soon for him against Kidderminster," confirmed Forest boss Paul Hart.
