JK looking at JJ

The 22-year-old, who could join on a season's loan because he is under the age of 23, could find his first-team chances at White Hart Lane limited following the arrival of Sean Davis and Michael Carrick in the summer.

Kinnear told SkySports: "Jackson is not in their side and I enquired about taking him but it's still in the early stages.

"They've bought Carrick and a lot of midfield players and they are thinking about it."

He has however dismissed speculation suggesting the deal could be part of a switch for Andy Reid to the Premiership in the process.

Hopefully Spurs won't tell Joe to "Beat It" but I'm sure Nigel Doughty will say "Don't Stop Til You Get Enough" players. I've heard he's not "Bad" and tends to be a "Thriller" when bombing down the left-wing! (Apologies but I couldn't resist)

Meanwhile, The Reds will only receive a mere £500,000 for Gareth Williams from Leicester City following the tribunal earlier this week. Forest had already rejected a £750,000 bid in the summer but could receive a further £100,000 should the Foxes be promoted to the Premiership.

Another tribunal involving Forest was the transfer of Kris Commons from Stoke City. A fee of £300,000 was decided which could rise depending on appearances. Commons played the final 20 minutes of Forest's 2-0 win over Scunthorpe in the Carling Cup First Round on Wednesday night after replacing Eion Jess.
