Johnson's pulling the Hartstrings

Johnson was out-in-the-cold earlier this year and was sent out on loan to both Sheffield Wednesday and Burnley by Forest manager Hart.

But now he is helping Forest stay in touch with the First Division's early season pace-setters after they recorded their fifth win in seven games at Grimsby.

"Forest seemed to want me off the wage bill because I am one of the club's highest earners but I proved myself while out on loan," said Johnson.

"The boss told me at the start of the season what he expected of me and I am repaying him."
