The 23-year-old, who played under Paul Hart during his time at Leeds United, cost the Foxes £3m two years ago.

He told the South Wales Echo: "I could stay at Leicester for the next two years and just pick up the money, but I want to earn my wage and get my football career back on track and in the right direction."

He has two years remaining on his contract at Leicester but boss Micky Adams has revealed he would be available on a free transfer.

Nothing is set in stone yet though and Cardiff City and a number of other Premier League clubs are also interested in the battling midfielder.
