The Nottingham Post reports that a substantial bid has been made for Greek striker Apostolos Vellios, currently playing with Iraklis in his homeland.
Vellios has experience of playing in England from a spell with Everton and is described as 'a big powerful front man' and as someone who can lead the forward line.
