The striker talks at length in his Nottingham Post interview about Forest's chances for the upcoming campaign and his previous links with a move to the City Ground.

Fryatt brings with him a record of 110 goals in 339 league appearances (264 starts and 75 as a substitute) and a record in the Championship of 4 in 9 for Sheffield Wednesday on loan last season and 16 for Hull in his last full campaign in the division (2011/12).

Stuart Pearce, meanwhile, has expressed his wish to keep Jamaal Lascelles at the City Ground after an offer from Queens Park Rangers, described by Pearce as 'nowhere near' the valuation he has of the player, has been turned down.

Pearce told BBC Radio Nottingham: "There's no pressure to sell. I'm here to build a squad, not dismantle one."
