The festive action gets underway on Boxing Day when Middlesbrough host Nottingham Forest at the Riverside Stadium with the home side looking to bounce back from defeat against Ipswich and start their promotion challenge again.
Head coach Aitor Karanka has challenged his players to turn that result into a positive and says that Boro have been good on the training ground in the intervening days.
He also told the official MFC website that Forest are not a team to be 'underestimated' despite dropping slightly off the promotion pace recently.
