Gary Megson felt that Forest deserved their 2-0 win over Hartlepool at the City Ground on Saturday.

Goals from Gareth Taylor and Eugen Bopp got the reds back on track after last week's defeat by Southend and the manager said afterwards: "We got the victory we deserved.

"It was vital to break them down in the first half because when you are up against a side with a 4-5-1 formation it can be difficult."

Alan Rogers is a target for Coventry boss Micky Adams according to reports this morning. The left-back is a free agent after being released from his Forest contract and has been training with Millwall in recent days.

Former Forest star Riccardo Scimeca looks set for a move to the Championship after falling out of favour at West Brom. Norwich are the earlt favourites to sign him.
