"It was disappointing to be left out - I've always wanted to play for Wales and it's not nice when your dream's taken away," said the 27-year-old after eanring a surprise recall for Wednesday's friendly with Georgia.
"I had a fantastic record early on in my Wales career, if I want that to carry on I have to be out playing.
"I'm looking forward to the future. I'm feeling fresh, excited about football."
