The newly-relegated Magpies are being linked with Forest target Dexter Blackstock

Impressive on loan at the City Ground last season, Blackstock is back at QPR under their new manager Jim Magilton, with talk of a permanent move to Forest having died down.

Now Newcastle, who ended the season with former R's boss Iain Dowie as number two to Alan Shearer, are being linked with a £6m deal to sign Blackstock, Fitz Hall and Damien Delaney from the Loftus Road outfit.
