Will they also look to attract a top foreign side to the banks of the River Trent? It would certainly spice up pre-season, which has become rather a bland affair over the past few seasons.
Last year's final friendly was against West Bromwich Albion and, fine club that the Baggies are they also provided the main opposition in the summer of 2012.
An overseas side did come to Nottingham in July 2013 although Royal Antwerp were not the most high-profile of visitors.
