Nottingham Forest & Brentford Wait on International Players

Last updated : 29 March 2016 By Forest

Both Nottingham Forest and Brentford should be safe in the division for another season but if either side were to lose on Saturday they would be looking over their shoulders at the teams below them.

Neither Paul Williams or Dean Smith will want any of their international call-ups to report back for training with injuries ahead of the final weeks of a long, hard campaign.

Six Brentford players linked up with their respective countries including star man Alan Judge, scorer of 14 goals for the Bees this season, who made his Republic of Ireland debut in a win over Switzerland and who is making a late surge to be included in Martin O'Neill's squad for Euro 2016.

Also set to be in France this summer are Nottingham Forest's Jamie Ward and David Vaughan.

Ward played in a win over Slovenia earlier this week, against Reds' team-mate Bojan Jokic, while Vaughan was on the substitute's bench for Wales in Ukraine.
