Nottingham Forest are without Oliver Burke for the foreseeable future as they look to bounce back from successive defeats when Bristol City visit.

The Reds are still waiting to discover the full extent of Burke's injury, he has a broken bone in his hand, with the teenage winger set to be sidelined for between 10 days and five weeks - depending on the severity of the damage.

Ryan Mendes has been missing recently due to a groin problem but the midfielder may be back in contention against the Robins on Saturday.

Andy Reid (groin), Daniel Pinillos (knee), Henri Lansbury (ankle) and Britt Assombalonga (knee) are all still out. However, the latter pair should be training again by the end of March.

Nathan Baker hopes to return to the Bristol City defence after scans revealed no tear on an Achilles injury.

The on-loan Aston Villa centre-half was substituted at half-time at MK Dons last Saturday and subsequently missed the 4-0 midweek home defeat to Brighton.

Mark Little came on as a second-half substitute against Brighton but will also be checked out following recent groin and foot injuries.

Full-back Luke Ayling has returned to full training after knee surgery while goalkeeper Frank Fielding, who has not played since the start of January because of a rib injury, came through his first Under-21 match unscathed earlier this week.
