Nottingham Forest v Ipswich Town: The Perfect Chance For Reds?

Matt Taylor's late leveller for Bolton Wanderers on Tuesday night stretched the wait for a three-point haul at the City Ground back to the 2-1 victory against Rotherham in mid-August.

But, having played two of the relegated teams and promotion favourites Middlesbrough in their last three home outings, the arrival of Ipswich represents a good chance for that run to end.

Mick McCarthy believes he has better players and a better squad than last season when the Tractor Boys were surprise play-off semi-finalists but a heavy midweek defeat at Hull City made it six without a win.

He told the official ITFC website: “It’s definitely the toughest time I’ve had since I came here. When I first came in, we were rock bottom and it was about scrapping away and getting away from relegation."
