Michael Mancienne could be back in the Nottingham Forest squad for their final home game of the season against Wolves.

The defender has missed the last five matches because of an ankle injury but he returned to training on Thursday and may be available against one of his former loan clubs.

However, forward Jamie Ward (hamstring) and midfielder David Vaughan will remain out while Kelvin Wilson's back problem is likely to see him stay on the sidelines.

After making his long-awaited return from a serious knee injury with substitute appearances against Blackburn and Fulham, Britt Assombalonga will hope to start a game for the first time since February 2015.

However, Reds boss Paul Williams will err on the side of caution with the striker.

Adam Le Fondre is a doubt for Wolves as the on-loan Cardiff striker battles a side strain.

Defender Mike Williamson was ruled out of Wanderers' run-in as he battles a glute problem which has stopped him from playing since he joined permanently from Newcastle in January, while Michal Zyro (knee) is out until next year.

Jordan Graham is sidelined until next season with a serious knee injury but his recovery is going to plan and he is expected back in September or October.

Nouha Dicko remains sidelined with his own serious knee injury but he is ahead of schedule and is due to be fit for the start of next season.
