The Hornets, threatened with administration last week, are appealing to season ticket holders who cannot make the game to let them know so their seats can be re-sold.

Malky Mackay's side currently lie just below the mid-table mark in the Championship and were beaten at Peterborough in their last outing although manager Mackay felt his men were well in command of the game.

Striker Nathan Ellington will not feature after agreeing a new year loan move to Greek club Skoda Xanthi.

Last season's corresponding fixture at Vicarage Road ended in a 2-1 win for the home side, Matt Thornhill netting for the Reds.
