Reds Take Point At Reebok

Last updated : 11 January 2014 By Forest

In a hard fought Championship contest Nottingham Forest will be pleased with taking a point at the Reebok which maintains their play-off challenge.

On 47 minutes the Reds took the lead when Jamie Paterson shot home from Simon Cox's pass. This goal made Wanderers increase the pressure and it was no more than they deserved when Matt Mills headed home on 75 minutes from a set piece cross by Andre Moritz.

Billy Davies returned to a familar theme afterwards, saying: "Defensively we were excellent and the only thing that we are lacking is that clinical finishing up front."

The point today keeps Forest in 5th place in the Championship. The attendance was 17,046.
