Stuart Pearce's side will once again make the journey from East to West Midlands and will do so in confidence after both the 3-0 victory at Wolves and the manner in which they controlled large parts of the game, confidence fully restored it seems by the way in which the Reds ended their poor run of form against Norwich before the international break.

"We have taken our training performance into the game," said Pearce afterwards but his men will face opponents who have been equally lifted out of the doldrums in recent weeks.

Gary Rowett has been in charge for four games during which his new side have conceded just a single goal and they gained a crucial three points at Rotherham on Saturday.

"It was the most complete performance that we've had since taking over," was his verdict at the New York Stadium.

"We played with really good control and some good composure."
