Season as it happened - November

Last updated : 14 May 2006 By Forest

November begins with a 1-1 home draw against non-league side Weymouth in the FA Cup, after which Gary Megson admits: "You have got to say that, with home advantage, Weymouth are now favourites and it is going to be very difficult for us."

Ahead of the next game against Bournemouth, Wycombe striker Nathan Tyson joins the Reds on loan with a view to a £675,000 move when the transfer window opens in January.

Tyson does not play in the 1-1 draw at Dean Court or the 2-0 win in the replay at Weymouth but makes an immediate impact with an impressive display in the home win over Southend.

The optimism generated by that disappears quickly though with another away defeat, 2-1 at Huddersfield.

After the match, the manager falls out with the Evening Post after they headline his thoughts on Forest's away form as: 'Megson - I have no idea'.
