Southend boss: We were in control

"I am trying to make out how we have lost the game 4-1 because until they scored their second goal I thought we controlled it," he said.

"We were comfortable, looked solid and looked as though we would get something out of the game. But we felt that Forest's second goal was off-side and then to have Leon sent off straight afterwards made it "Goodnight Vienna" for us.

"I was disappointed about that because I thought the lad made a meal of it. It's bang out of order when players try to get others sent off."
