The Forest Mad Forum: On Nigel Clough

Clough is the name being mentioned in press reports this week as a possible successor to Dougie Freedman should results not improve over the next few weeks.

The Daily Telegraph claims that the 49-year-old has 'strong support' in the Forest boardroom.

Speculation comes with the territory of being a manager (especially at the City Ground) but it is still harsh on Freedman who continues to battle against the transfer embargo that makes even a loan signing such as Liam Trotter a drawn-out process.

Have your say on all things Forest by signing up to the messageboard where a thread has been started on the Clough rumours, although opinion on his managerial prowess seems very low in one half of Sheffield!
