The Forest Week

Last updated : 16 May 2014 By Forest

With the Reds season having ended and new manager Stuart Pearce not formally taking charge until the start of July, concrete news has been hard to come by.

Steve Wigley's departure from his role as Fulham's Under-18 manager has been confirmed by the Craven Cottage club and all indications are that he will become Pearce's number two shortly.

Moving in the opposite direction if reports are to be believed could be Henri Lansbury with the impressive midfielder said to be a target for the newly-relegated Londoners.

Heading further afield according to the rumour mill is defender Dan Harding, wanted by Orlando City who will be joining MLS in 2015.

And two of the more unusual headlines from the week: 'Ice cream-at-wheel footballer jailed' and 'Forest threatened with liquidation over unpaid catering bill'.

The first story relates to ex-Forest striker Marlon King, imprisoned for 18 months for dangerous driving while the second relates to a £200,000 bill that the Reds have reportedly yet to settle.
