Unbeaten Run Continues But Forest Draw Blank

Forest maintain their record of never having lost a competitive match at home to Queens Park Rangers after another closely-fought game between two sides who met in the FA Cup earlier this month.

Jamie Ward's goal settled that tie but the in-form Northern Ireland international had to be content with starting on the bench as Dougie Freedman shuffled his pack following a tough trip to Middlesbrough at the weekend.

Both sides created chances throughout the 90 minutes but the game ended scoreless which keeps the Reds three points above their visitors in the Championship table and now seven points off the play-off places.

Attention now turns to the FA Cup and Saturday's visit of Watford to the City Ground where 17,030 watched the action on Tuesday evening.
