Watching brief for Forest

Given time to reflect on the midweek defeat at Derby, Steve Cotterill will also be keeping an eye on those sides below Forest who could still make life very uncomfortable in the final weeks of the season.

Chief among those seem to be Doncaster Rovers, currently four points behind the Reds but with a game in hand and boosted by three excellent recent results, namely a win at the City Ground followed by draws with promotion chasing duo West Ham and Reading.

Rovers entertain Derby on Saturday while Bristol City are at bottom club Portsmouth and Coventry travel to Watford still looking for their first away victory of the season.

***Update***

Doncaster's defeat and goalless draws at Fratton Park and Vicarage Road made it a decent day for Forest who stay four points above the drop zone ahead of their trip to Leeds in midweek.
