Jack Lester started the scoring after 18 minutes, David Johnson took defenders on by wiggling through the visitors defence and looping a far-post ball for Lester to oblige with his head.

On 25 minutes Lester repaid Johnson with a near-post ball for the striker to head in to make it 2-0.

Nottingham Forest were cruising at this point and could even afford defender Mathieu Louis-Jean to head the third Forest goal and his first goal of the season.

The closest the visitors came was on 61 minutes Jim Brennan cleared off the line from a Robert Molenaar shot.

The second half was exhibition stuff, the highlight for the fans was a ten minute Mexican wave which went round the ground on a bitter cold day on the banks of the River Trent.

Bradford manager Nicky Law must wonder were his next points are going to come from as he played the only 11 fit men he has available. He has ten injured and two suspended.

Forest on this performance look worthy play-off candidates. The travelling fans from Bradford, all 519 of them, never gave up hope of trying to salvage something from this game.

So much were Forest in control that Hart had the luxury of taking off his two main strikers Johnson and Harewood and replacing them with Eoin Jess and Andy Reid.

Forest's academy is proving to be successful with the talent that they have available on the bench.

Matthew Dawson at only 18 looked solid at the back winning everything in the air and looked incredibly cool when laying off passes to his veteran team-mate Des Walker.
