A remarkable rise to the top-flight could be completed if reports this morning of Charlton interest in Marlon King are confirmed.
The 25-year-old striker was deemed surplus to requirements at the City Ground at the start of the season, leading to a loan move to Watford.
That move has since been made permanent, with King netting 20 goals for the Championship high-fliers, who still have a chance of promotion themselves.
