After securing four new faces for his squad this week, manager Billy Davies will now turn his attentions back to the Preston North End midfielder, a player Davies knows well from his time at Deepdale.
The People newspaper on Sunday suggests that an £850,000 bid will be enough to land McKenna, although Preston remain reluctant to lose him.
