The Pilgrims have turned around their season with wins on the road recently at Watford and Crystal Palace.
"It would be great to get a home win," said Sturrock.
"The fans deserve it and I want to see it as much as them."
Argyle turned in disappointing displays at Home Park against Swansea and Norwich and Sturrock added: "We now have to be offensive at home and that's something we have not got right yet."
