A Nervous Break for Brentford Ahead of Forest Clash

Last updated : 21 March 2016 By Forest

Both sides have one eye on the relegation scrap after weekend defeats, Forest narrowly beaten by rivals Derby County and Brentford also losing by a single goal but in different circumstances at home to Blackburn Rovers.

The Bees were trying to break down the 10-man visitors when Shane Duffy netted to give Blackburn all three points and make it four successive defeats for Dean Smith’s side.

Like the Reds, Brentford are struggling for goals and have also conceded twelve in their last four away games.

Speaking to his club’s official website after the Blackburn defeat, Smith said: "The break gives us a chance to go and work on a few things that we need to.

"We need to make some decisions to put things right. Four lads will go off on international duty and it is up to us to make sure we work hard so that when we go to Nottingham Forest we get a win."
